Carol

Carol

Born in the United States, Carol is a graduate in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Having herself studied Italian, Spanish and French, she has spent most of her career teaching business English to a professional audience (bankers, lawyers, diplomats and corporate executives) in various countries such as Mexico and Egypt before coming to Paris. She joined the team of Les Langues du Monde in 2001 in order to devote herself exclusively to the linguistic support of executives and senior bankers. Her international experience means she is particularly attuned to different cultures and international professional customs.

John

John

The business world holds no secrets for John. With both a Yale BA in English literature and an MBA in Marketing plus a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from HEC, he first worked as a strategic consultant for one of the world’s leading consulting firms and then managed several companies before founding a technology start-up in 2009.
John joined Les Langues du Monde to help executives and company managers in their use of business English drawing on his wide professional experiences and his mastery of the language itself.

Anne

Anne

Born in Chicago to French parents, Anne spent a large part of her education in the United States before coming to live and work in Paris. Her life between two countries and languages gives her a unique perspective on the challenges associated with understanding and communicating in a foreign language.
Thanks to her professional experience in the world of communication and marketing, she now assists business executives and directors in their use of English with an emphasis on oral communication.

Penni

Penni

Originally from the United States, Penni graduated from Columbia University with a degree in International Affairs where she discovered her passion for Economics and Geopolitics. Her professional experience in several major international recruitment firms has allowed her to broaden her global vision and her mastery of cross-cultural communication.
She left the US for Europe in 1993 and became an English language consultant. After four years in Italy, she joined Les Langues du Monde in Paris to work with executives and managers of large international companies based in France.

Melissa

Melissa

Having graduated with a degree in Law and Political Science in Sydney, Melissa began her career as a legal researcher and writer in Australia, before working for over ten years in London in various publishing houses, where she was a legal and business editor. Fully aware of the high standards expected in the business world and the importance of accurate communication, she joined Les Langues du Monde in 2014. Drawing on her expertise and pedagogy, she teaches business English to bankers, executives and managers of financial and legal firms.

James

James

Having worked more than 20 years in multinational companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Expedia, James joined Les Langues du Monde as a language coach where he helps executives to improve their English communication skills.
Originally from England, James has a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, an MA in Education and a Diploma in Adult Continuing Education. He helps students to develop the most effective way to communicate and express themselves in professional situations while paying particular attention to their individual needs and expectations.

Francesca

Francesca

After growing up in an American-Mexico-Hungerian household in California, Francesca embarked upon a career in sales and marketing, specifically within major American corporations. She moved to Paris in 2005 to work as an interpreter and translator.
Since joining Les Langues du Monde in 2013, she has combined her knowledge of the corporate world with her passion for languages and communication. Very conscientious, she is constantly striving to adapt to the particular needs of each individual.

Stefan

Stefan

Born in England, Stefan is curious and passionate. He graduated with a degree in Literature and Socio-biology and then obtained a Master’s in Law. Admitted to the London Bar, he practiced law for a few years before working closely with clients in the financial sector in a communications agency. He also founded and managed an educational support organization for seven years. He first taught English and Law in London before joining Les Langues du Monde in Paris, where he helps his clients to express themselves in a clear and impactful way.

Amy

Amy

Originally from England, Amy holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton and has a strong background in communications, media and private equity. Her qualities have enabled her to work for major companies such as Hill & Knowlton, EVCA and Strategic Rail Authority and led us to bring her on board. A partner since 2013, she is the consultant who will help you become more eloquent.

Samantha

Samantha

With a mixed heritage from Britain and Trinidad, Samantha studied European Business Law and obtained a degree in International Law and Diplomatic Relations in New Delhi. After working for several years in law firms in the Caribbean, she began to teach law in Madrid and Brazil. Following her passion for communication, she then became an English teacher for professionals in India for several years.

She joined the Les Langues du Monde team in 2017 to dedicate herself to teaching law in English.

Lauren

Lauren

Originally from the US, Lauren has acquired much of her experience in Management positions at major Californian Universities, law and recruitment firms, as well as in the entertainment industry including twelve years at Disneyland Co.

Lauren has a strong understanding of communication challenges associated with language and cultural differences in the workplace, making her a dynamic trainer and a very good communicator, invaluable skills in her work for Les Langues du Monde.

Jayne

Jayne

With a double degree in International Marketing and Anglo-German literature, Jayne has always had a particular interest in intercultural communication. She began her career working with several international companies, taking her from London to Tokyo, Paris and Brussels. In 2010, she obtained a Master’s degree in professional coaching in the UK. Empathetic, rigorous and driven by her passion for languages, wince 2015, Jayne has been putting her expertise into practice at Les Langues du Monde as a language consultant in business English.

Natasha

Natasha

Natasha grew up moving between Russia and England before settling in Paris in 2004, where she graduated with the TEFL qualification, awarded by The Cambridge British Institute in Paris. Multilingual, she has taught English, Russian and French while dedicating herself to the education of her children, who are also trilingual. In 2016, she joined Les Langues du Monde to teach English to executives and managers of international companies..

Rose

Rose

Born in Britain, Rose obtained her TEFL Certificate in Singapore, and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. For 12 years, she worked as a project manager in specialised international companies where she gained extensive sales and marketing experience.
On arriving in Paris in 2013, she obtained the Cambridge CELTA (Level 5 TEFEL), which led her to join the team of Les Langues du Monde to teach English to marketing and finance professionals.

Branka

Originally from the United States, Branka obtained a master’s degree in marketing from the University of California at Berkeley and has excelled in the field of international marketing. Our teacher first worked for a large group specialized in IT, then moved into multicultural and international communication. Finally, she started working with us in 2022 and has put her skills to work for major clients such as Natixis, Tikehau and UBS.

Christine

Christine worked for over twenty years in the asset management sector, specializing in real estate and property management.
In 2014 she decided to returned on her true passion, Linguistics, and obtained the DAEFLE (Diploma of Aptitude for Teaching French as a Foreign Language). This led her to join Les Langues du Monde’s team of language consultants in 2015, where she is able to share her extensive knowledge of the world of asset management while teaching business and financial French.

Isabelle

Isabelle

Having graduated with a Master’s degree from the Sorbonne University in Language Sciences, a double degree in private and business Law and the FLE diploma (DAEFLE ; Diploma of Aptitude for Teaching French as a Foreign Language), Isabelle began her career as a legal associate in corporate law. After working as an HR training director in an international company, she decided to refocus on French language training.
Her professional experience and pedagogical awareness have perfectly prepared her to teach French to foreign executives and managers and to support them in the preparation for tests and certifications of French as a foreign language. At the same time, Isabelle also teaches French at Top French universities, such as Sciences Po.

Nadège

Nadège

Originally from France, Nadège lived in Latin America for 6 years where she carried out an anthropological study on the themes of native-people and gender in the Antioquia region of Colombia for her thesis.
She then obtained a Master’s degree in Human and Social Sciences at IHEAL at Sorbonne Nouvelle. She has taught French in Latin America to a variety of clients including academics and professionals in different environments such as the Alliance Française, universities and corporations in both Paris and Brussels.

Sophie

Sophie

Born in France and brought up in the US, Sophie studied Fine Arts at UCLA in California before beginning a career working in the commercial department of the French Consulate in Los Angeles.
After several years spent in the architecture and design industry, she decided to focus her attention on languages by working on subtitling and translation projects.
Passionate about languages and completely bilingual, Sophie then became a French teacher and interpreter. Since 2009, she has been sharing her passion for adopting a global perspective and international lifestyles at Les Langues du Monde.

Catherine

Catherine

After graduating with a degree in Literature and Languages from the University of Bristol, UK, Catherine continued her studies by training as an English teacher and taught for a few years in Scotland and then in Spain, before moving permanently to Paris in 2002.
Passionate about languages and theatre, she enrolled in Theatre School while continuing to teach languages. Catherine successfully combines her theatre skills for professional public speaking and presentations with foreign-language teaching methods to help business executives working in France.

Emmanuelle

Emmanuelle

Emmanuelle holds a master’s degree in political science and a post-graduate diploma in intercultural communication from the University of Marne la Vallée. She dedicated the first part of her career to the undertaking of international projects in the field of culture. Later, she decided to use her artistic sensitivity in the field of language teaching. Specialised in the corporate and business world, she has worked for many companies such as Eurocentres, L’Archipel, EPT Grand Paris Grand Est, and finally joined us in 2022.

Natacha

Natacha

French-German and born in Strasbourg in France, Natacha grew up surrounded by two distinct cultures. Her interest in languages, travelling and cultural diversity guided her decision to study in the tourism sector, where she obtained her BTS « Ventes et Productions Touristiques » in 2010. After her studies, she worked as a Forfaitiste Tours Opérateurs, in Germany and in other countries. It was during her time outside of France when Natacha discovered a new passion: sharing her culture and her mother tongue. To do so, she trained at the heart of Goethe Institute to become a German teacher. After 5 years of an enriching experience in teaching, Natacha made the decision to make a living off of her passion and started her own business before joining Les Langues du Monde in 2023.

Diana

Born in Mexico, Diana obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Guadalajara, her hometown. There, she began her career in Journalism before continuing to pursue this route in Paris working for newspapers such as Le Point and Reporter sans frontiers.
In 2012 Diana obtained a Master’s degree in Literature, Philosophy and Linguistics from the Sorbonne and began a career as a Spanish language consultant in several Parisian universities.
She has been working for Les Langues du Monde since 2017, teaching Spanish to executives and managers at banks and corporations.

José

José

José graduated with a double diploma in Advertising and English Literature in Madrid and then obtained a diploma in the teaching Spanish to adults from the Instituto Cervantes. Today, with more than fifteen years of experience in the realms of communication and teaching, José has acquired a thorough knowledge of pedagogical techniques to better help his students in their practice of Spanish.
Upon arriving in France in 2015, he joined Les Langues du Monde where he is passionate about tailoring his lessons to meet the specific requirements of our client’s needs and preferences.

Marianela

Marianela

Born in Uruguay, Marianela studied International Relations and graduated with an MBA in marketing. Various professional experiences in investment consulting, business development, distribution and international trade have taken her to Chile, Spain, Australia, Switzerland and France, where she settled in 2015.

Very committed to the empowerment of women, she turned to personal development and obtained a degree in Personal and Professional Coaching. She created her own coaching company in Paris in 2016 while joining Les Langues du Monde the same year to use her enthusiasm and passion for communication for the benefit of our professional clients’ goals.

Veronica

Veronica

A graduate of the Escuela Latinoamericana de Idiomas de Santiago, Veronica is experienced in teaching and translating Spanish. She works as both a corporate teacher and a translator and has proven herself to be a very competent linguist. In 2021, Veronica joined Les Langues du Monde and has worked for large companies such as Sterling International, Cabinet Reed Smith, and Cityrama Paris.

Tomás

Tomás

With a combined French-Spanish heritage, Tomás has a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Vigo in Spain.
Speaking seven languages, Tomàs became a translator and interpreter, where he focusses on financial markets working as an official interpreter for the annual conference of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).
In 2008, he joined Les Langues du Monde where his dynamism, language skills and knowledge of the financial sector are particularly appreciated by executives and managers who wish to learn Spanish.

Polina

Polina

Polina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Italian and Philology from the University of Athens, a Master’s degree in Higher Studies in Spanish Language from the University of Granada and a Master’s degree in the use of computer science in language teaching from UNED. She is a Spanish language consultant for Les Langues du Monde in Brussels, who is passionate about communicative teaching. She has extensive experience in coaching executives and managers in the preparation of meetings, presentations and phone calls in Spanish.

Native to Italy, Margaret graduated from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris in Italian Language Teaching. Passionate about languages and cultural diversity, she embarked on her career in Italy before moving to Paris where she now teaches both Italian and French.
In 2013, Margaret joined the team of Les Langues du Monde where she uses her experience to teach Italian to executives and managers of companies specialising in finance and asset management.

Maria Cristina

Maria Cristina

Maria completed her master’s degree in modern literature before continuing her studies at the School of Organizational Psychology in Milan. As an Italian language trainer, she has had the opportunity to work in Rome, Algiers, London and Paris for companies in the financial sector, such as Deutsche Bank and Groupama. Maria resumed her studies in 2000, graduating in Italian language teaching and translation/correction. She then continued her career at Les Langues du Monde in Paris where she uses her understanding and familiarity with the world of finance to help executives and managers achieve their language goals.

Federica

Federica is an Italian teacher based in Brussels. Dynamic and resourceful, she is an expert in language pedagogy and has extensive teaching experience. She began her career in Italy and moved to Brussels in 2014. Federica dedicates her herself to helping business and finance executives whom she supports in personalised Italian language coaching using her experience and knowledge of the fields.

Mariangela

Mariangela

Italian-born Mariangela forged her academic path between Rome and Paris, building up a rare expertise in both French and Italian. With degrees in translation in both languages, as well as in political science, international relations and philosophy, her wide-ranging knowledge enables her to understand the nuances of many professional fields.
For several years now, she has been teaching Italian at leading French schools specializing in politics and international business. Her aim: to enable her students to speak Italian with ease and master the language of business with nuance and efficiency.

Originally from Germany, Gabi holds a Master’s degree in Literature from Stockholm University and a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from Sorbonne. After starting her career in France in network management, Gabi joined Les Langues du Monde’s team of language teachers in 2010. After her studies in Marketing and History of Art in Cologne, Aix-la-Chapelle, Berlin and Rome, and some professional experiences in the events, marketing, client management and artist support sectors respectively, Saskia started her career in 2011, working as a German teacher at the German Cultural Centre in Montpellier, then as a teacher for the French Minister of National Education. Thanks to her experiences, she was able to cultivate a strong set of interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, as well as a spirit of sharing and an excellent teaching ability. Today, she works with both success and pleasure in adult coaching, for directors and executives.

Dominique

Dutch-American by birth, Dominique holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Leiden in Holland.
She has 10-years of experience at Lexmark International as a product manager, followed by her role as head of the training department for Europe, Middle East and Asia regions. In 2012, she was certified by the University of Cambridge CELTA and began teaching English and Dutch in the finance and insurance sectors before joining Les Langues du Monde in 2013.

Esther

Esther

Born in the Netherlands, Esther grew up between Holland and the Dutch Antilles. Passionate about marketing, our teacher studied in her native country but also in Strasbourg, France. She spent the first part of her career in the marketing and promotion of cut flowers. After twelve years in this field, she decided to make a living out of her passion for languages, and became a freelance translator and Dutch teacher.

Thomas

Born in France with a Portuguese heritage, Thomas quickly developed a passion for literature and languages, whereby he soon began studying for and obtained a degree in Foreign Languages, Literature and Civilization, specializing in Portuguese. Thanks to his linguistic and literary skills, Thomas completed a Master’s degree in Applied French Language, which allowed him to start teaching French and Portuguese.
Thanks to his passions for travel, music and cooking, Thomas has a deep understanding and appreciation for many different cultures. It is with a strong desire and willingness to share his experience with others, that he therefore decided to join Les Langues du Monde in 2018, where he helps executives and employees across all sectors to communicate internationally.

Yuying

Yuying

Yuying has a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris and began her career working in several laboratories and companies in the chemical sector. Yuying however decided to become a teacher and completed her Master’s degree in Teaching (CAPES in Chinese) at the University Paris-Diderot. She developed a perfect understanding of the pedagogical tools needed for teaching Mandarin to adult professionals at Les Langues du Monde. As a language coach, Yuying specialises in teaching “survival Mandarin” to executives and bankers in the financial sector.

Tarek

Tarek

Qualified lawyer and member of the Aleppo-Syria Bar Association, Tarek specialises in civil and commercial law. Equipped with exceptional legal, linguistic and argumentative skills, he now teaches Arabic in France including literature, grammar and business vocabulary which he teaches to all levels of language proficiency. A doctoral student in political science, Tarek teaches in several universities (HEC – INALCO, Paris 8 and Paris 13). He is also an Arabic language trainer at the Paris City Hall and Versailles City Hall.
His professionalism and his taste for business have been much appreciated by Les Langues du Monde’s clients working with the Middle-East and North-Africa
